Dana and Don have years of experience in relationships, both professionally and personally. Their stories and case studies will astound you, helping you to understand real life situations in court and the law. Real life stories that tug at your heart when parental alienation, child custody and parental rights become part of your life. Dana and Don will bring you to a place of hope, empowerment and belief that even though marriages end, families are forever.

As founders of The Mediation and Family Counseling Group, Dana and Don consistently bring insight and helpful tips to individuals looking for a better life and know they deserve one, but not sure how to achieve it. In addition to consultations, they offer information through eBooks and various articles on the subject of divorce and starting over. In addition to being a certified mediator, Dana is a licensed clinical social worker and family and couples therapist successfully practicing privately in Manhattan, Long Island and Brooklyn. Dana is also directly involved in the New York court system handling forensics for child custody and parental rights issues. Both Dana and Don are divorced single parents and Dana is a child of divorce. Don, as a single dad, has had many challenges himself. Don is a board member for the Fathers and Families organization. He is dedicated to helping families and remains tenacious is staying current with the changes in family law and the court system for divorcing people and families in trouble.
